Apprenticeship Specifics:
The main offering of the academy is for a Level 3 Tech course age 16+.
Don't be mistaken - this apprenticeship isn't about making cups of tea for the office. It's much more than that. As an apprentice at IT Desk, you will be part of an experienced team with a dedicated mentor to help support your development, this is an opportunity where you can get involved and make a difference.
You will have the opportunity to work in our technical workshop, our service desk and get involved with some of NOC and SOC functions giving you a real taste of the IT industry.
You will be working in a fast-paced SME – one day you might be taking calls from the director of a multi-million pound empire and helping them with their emails, the next setting up a user on Microsoft Azure platform or replacing a faulty hard drive in a laptop.
While on the apprenticeship with us you will be enrolled with our training partner who deliver training courses over the term of your apprenticeship. This is in a virtual classroom environment for you to learn the theory behind IT processes. You’ll then be given plenty of opportunities to put that theory into practice in your everyday job role on the service desk.
